I'll write a longer article later, but briefly, results for the Kirkcudbright Criterium were as follows:

1st: Gareth Montgomerie, Endura/Voodoo/Singletrack

2nd: Tommy Lockhart, Classic Walls

3rd: Steve Martin, Classic Walls

There were five sprint primes, winners as follows:

(1) Gareth Montgomerie, Endura/Voodoo/Singletrack

(2) Chris Bush, Gosforth Road Club

(3) Chris Bush, Gosforth Road Club

(4) Chris Bush, Gosforth Road Club

(5) Tommy Lockhart, Classic Walls

The womens' first prize was won by the only woman riding Anselma Gallinat of Gosforth Road Club.

Special commiserations to Chris Bush, who had been with the lead group for the whole race but punctured at the end of the hour and finished fourth.
