You probably already know, because I've been talking about it for over a year now, about my proposal to ride all seven seven stanes tracks in one event.

Well, this is the formal invitation. The ride will take place on the weekend of the 18th-19th June. It's for relay teams of up to four riders. For full details and the rules, see the links at the bottom of this article.

If you'd like to enter a team, please email me [simon@jasmine.org.uk]. If you'd like to take part but don't have a team, email me and I'll find you a team. If you don't feel up to riding but could drive a team car, email me.

Finally, if you'd like to help but can't take part in any other way, you could volunteer to man a control point. All the control-point volunteers have to do is to wait for the riders to come through, write down the time, tick them off a list, and give them a ring for their baton. Very simple, but there will be a lot of waiting around so you'll need a good book.

This event is quite important to the club. If we can make a success of it this year we'll run it as an open event next year. And - it will be a lot of fun.
