The lion roared into action at the Scottish Cross Country meet at Glentress on Sunday, opening this years Scottish Cross Country series. Gareth Montgomerie took first place in the Elite Men's race, while Bruce McCleary came in eighth. In the Primary School M67 class, Ryan Fenwick came second and Ross Green came seventh, while Angus Laurie came in ninth in the Juvenile Mens. Steve Warner came in 34th in the Mens Veteran class.
