NPS Round 4, Crowhill near Southampton

The long journey to the New Forrest at Southampton at the end of June, was made a bit easier with an overnight halt at Birmingham. Ryan, Ross and Jenna pre-rode the course on the Friday, and liked it, as it was very undulating and fast-flowing. The boys had to do 3 laps in the Youth category and Jenna's race in the Juvenile category was for 2 laps. Both Ryan and Ross had a consistent race, with steady lap times. Ryan finished in 7th place overall, and Ross was 13th. This was the best placing the boys have had so far this year, in an NPS race. Jenna had a fantastic race and finished in the top podium spot, which is all the more commendable, as this is her first year riding in this category. Series standings so far are: Jenna 1st Juvenile female, Ryan 7th Youth , Ross 15th Youth and Richard 30th Youth. The boys are also in their first year riding in their Youth category. The last round is at Plymouth in September.
