Ryan persuaded me to take him down to Bournemouth for the British Cross Country Championships for 2008 on Sunday 20th July.

Thanks to Ryanair's(private plane of course)cheap flights we travelled down cheaply and quickly compared to going by van.

Despite a bit of last minute panic during the warm up with burst Stewartry Wheelers shorts, Ryan managed to win the bronze medal in the Juvenile race. He didn't have a particularly good start but rode a steady race to finish with a podium position which he was very pleased with.
