Stewartry Wheelers is a club for cyclists in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright. We aim to cater for cyclists of all ages and inte rests, organising social rides, time trials and races both on road and off.

The Stewartry is a wonderful area for cycling, with magnificent scenery, quiet roads and several Olympic- quality prepared mountain-bike routes.

Seven Stanes cycle tracks in Dalbeattie Forest, Jan 16, 2008

At our committee meeting on Sat. we decided to go ahead and organise another sxc race in Dalbeattie this year after being approached by the sxc committee earlieer in the week. The race will take place on the 4th May . We will be looking for as many helpers on the day and also beforehand to mark out the course. It would also be good to see a few locals try their hand at racing.Watch this space and keep an eye on the forum to find out what's happening and when
