CYCLECROSS AT MUGDOCK PARK

On Saturday 28th October, four of our young cyclists took part in a cyclecross race at Mugdock Park, Glasgow. It was a wet muddy day and conditions were hard going. Ryan, Ross and Richard took part in the Youths race and had to race for 30 minutes plus a lap. Ryan took 3rd position, Ross took 6th and Richard 7th place.

Jenna Fenwick took part in the Sprogs under 12 event and did 5 laps of a shorter course and was pleased to finish 1st overall.

There will be a Cyclecross race at Gatehouse on the 18th November, so we hope to have some club members taking part in that.

The SXC AGM was held after the Mugdock race. Ryan was presented with a shield for being 2nd overall in the Juvenile section for the 2007 series.
