First Time Trial of the seasonCraignair Bridge, by Dalbeattie, Apr 18, 2007 Twelve people rode in Stewartry Wheelers' first ten mile time trial of the season at Craignair Bridge on Tuesday 17th April. It was a chilly evening with a brisk crosswind blowing, but nevertheless good times were recorded for this early in the season. Most encouragingly, a third of the riders were under 16. Many thanks to Dougie McFern for timekeeping, and to Bob Green, Mary Scales, and Marcus Andrews-Mackay for marshalling. Our next mountain bike time trial will be Wednesday April 25th at Dalbeattie, meet at Richorn trail head at 7.00pm. Our next road time trial will be at Kirkcudbright on 1st May, meet outside the creamery gate at 7.00pm. Times will be recorded for Stewartry Wheelers members only.
